Internship

While you are a student, it is extremely important when envisioning your future to experience worksites related to your field of specialty, instead of taking a part-time job. Actual engagement in society will make your research and life in Hokkaido University more fulfilling.

In Europe and the United States, much weight is attached to internships, and many departments in universities require their students to undertake an internship for six months or more as one of the academic requirements for graduation.

The CEED provides financial support to cover the travel expenses of students who take Internship I (5 or more actual working days) or Internship II (15 or more actual working days). These students also receive internship training.

For those who are interested in overseas internships, please proceed to the Overseas Internships page.

For those who are interested in domestic internships, please proceed to the Domestic Internships page.
